Who goes first? Who's "it"? Who does the dare? Put your fingers on the screen, wait for the 3-second countdown, and one person is picked at random. Try it free below, or get the app for teams, turn order and truth or dare.

A finger chooser needs a touchscreen so everyone can hold a finger on it at the same time. Scan the code or go to fingerchooser.com on your phone, then pass it around the table.
On a tablet or touchscreen laptop it works right here.
Fair by design: the winner is chosen with the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator. Every finger has the same chance. Where or when you touch makes no difference.

Finger chooser FAQ
-
Is the finger chooser free?
- Yes. The finger chooser on this page is free and runs in your browser with no sign-up. The Finger Chooser: Teams & Dares app is free to download; optional packs and a Party Pass are paid extras.
-
Does it work offline?
- The app works fully offline and needs no account. This web page needs an internet connection to load once; after that, the picker runs in your browser and sends nothing to a server.
-
How many players can join?
- On this page, 2 to 10 fingers, limited by how many touches your phone can track at once (most phones track 5 to 10, tablets more). In the app, everyone around the phone can join, up to what the screen can detect.
-
Is the pick really random and fair?
- Yes. Each round, one finger is chosen with the browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator. Every finger has exactly the same chance. Where you press, when you press, and how big your finger is make no difference.
-
Is it safe for kids?
- Yes. This website has no ads, no tracking cookies and nothing to type. The app’s default Family pack is written for all ages. The Friends pack is for older teens and adults: cheeky, never explicit.
-
What is the difference between the website and the app?
- The website picks one person. The app does that and then gives the group something to do with the pick: random color teams (2 to 6), a turn order (1st, 2nd, 3rd…), truth or dare with Family, Teens and Friends packs, “most likely to” questions, and your own dares. All of it works offline.
-
What is a finger chooser (or tap roulette)?
- A finger chooser is a tool where everyone touches a screen at the same time and the device picks one finger at random. It is also called a finger picker, tap roulette or finger roulette. People use it to decide who goes first, who is “it”, or who does the next dare.
